R. Kelly Was Denied Bail After Pleading Not Guilty In Federal Case
Get the Full StoryRobert Sylvester Kelly pleaded not guilty today to federal child pornography and sex trafficking charges. According to TMZ he was denied bail even though his attorney Steve Greenberg essentially argued that he s too broke, dumb, and scared to jump bond. The judge sided with the prosecution who suggested it was best if Robert keep his pants on in this case, a bright orange jumpsuit, sadly not pictured for the time being and remain in jail.TMZ reports:
Prosecutors argued against his release saying he s a danger to the community, especially to minor girls. They claim the risk of obstruction is real and ongoing, and also heightened by his fame and power. Prosecutors are also saying he has the unique ability to influence and intimidate witnesses and victims, and that continues to this day.
They added an emphatic, It s who the defendant is, after alleging that he s sexually assaulted the alleged victims hundreds of times.
They re claiming that electronic monitor and home confinement is not enough for Kelly going on to say he can entice girls to his own doorstep.
As if to prove the prosecution s point exactly, two of Robert s alleged victims, Joycelyn Savage and Azriel Clary, appeared in court to support him.

Joycelyn and Azriel think or, more likely, Robert thinks. I doubt they re doing a lot of thinking for themselves they re helping but they re really not. They released a video of themselves in Trump they are currently residing in Robert s apartment in Trump Towers. TMZ says he s paid up through December or January bragging about the view and insisting they re there of their own volition. Honestly, if Joycelyn manages to survive R. Kelly, she could have a really lucrative career coaching people how to make hostage videos guaranteed not to fool anybody.
Yes, there s nothing quite like repeating the name Trump ad nauseum and shouting fake news to inspire confidence in one s innocence. So while Joycelyn and Azriel are still under the influence, Robert s lawyer Steven is getting paid or maybe he s working for McDonald s coupons at this point to argue that Robert isn t a flight risk saying How could he flee? He has no money . He also noted that Robert has already given up his passport and that since he doesn t really like to fly, he s not going anywhere. That implies that Robert is afraid of flying and that changes everything. Think about it.

Was Robert s entire career built on a lie? Too bad he couldn t see believe his way into learning how to read and write. Steven says Robert s illiteracy is going to make things difficult for him in the slammer.
He says the fact that R. Kelly can t read or write would make it difficult to go over discovery with him in jail. He also says Kelly makes for a difficult prisoner because of his notoriety and implications that come with that.
