Duchess Meghan Admitted It Hasn t Been Easy Getting People To Accept Her As Prince Harry s Wife

Get the Full StoryEver since Duchess Meghan married Prince Harry, it seems like there s been no end to the stories about Meghan s alleged demanding, difficult, stuck-up, spoiled, wasteful, too-Hollywood, diva duchess ways, etc We re barely a year out from the day Meghan married Harry, and every day since, the British press has basically been that aunt who lowers her sunglasses dramatically and hisses, Oh you re NEVER going to guess what she s been up to now. So nobody should have been surprised when Meghan recently spoke about her relationship and implied it hasn t been all red carpets and tiaras.

During Meghan and Harry s yellow carpet meet-and-greet at the London premiere of The Lion King on Sunday, one of the people they stopped and talked to was Pharrell Williams. Pharrell was there because he produced five songs on The Lion King soundtrack, and performed one. Us Weekly says that Pharrell greeted Meghan and Harry, who commented on how much he loved Pharrell s shorts cut to Michael K ordering a dozen pairs of dress shorts online . He explained:

I m so happy for your union. Love is amazing. Love is beautiful. Don t ever take that for granted. But what it means in today s climate, I just wanted to tell you it s so significant for many of us. We cheer you guys on.

If you re wondering the exact temperature of said climate, I d guess probably about as hot as the incinerator Queen Elizabeth forced Princess Michael of Kent to throw her tasteless Blackmoore brooch into. Meghan didn t comment on that part. Instead, she said:

Oh, thank you. They don t make it easy.

The they she s referring to could be Harry s family, or it could be the British press, or just hateful people online. Regardless, I m sure it won t be long before someone in one of those groups accuses Meghan of being shady and makes a petty comment. Meghan actually said thank you. Does this mean spoiled ungracious Meghan is actually grateful for something???
